Technicians from the University of Padua conducted extensive tests on our Turbo 3 electrostatic sprayer with TELE AIR FAN anti-sucking system.
The tests were carried out in Lugo, in the province of Ravenna, in an espalier-trained vineyard (Trebbiano variety) with a 2.9-m row spacing. These trials mainly focused on the spraying system to study its uniformity of distribution. During the test, the average windiness was around 3 m/sec with an average relative humidity of 58 percent and an average temperature of 30 °C, all optimal parameters for testing distribution uniformity by means of hydrosensitive maps.
Some of the technicians’ conclusions were:
- The Tele Air Fan system makes it possible to reduce the risk of dust, foliage and debris entering the circuit with benefits for misting as well.
- This sprayer has a daily productivity between 30 and 50 hectares considering operating speed of 10 km/hour.
